After eight years at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Solid Mechanics group is relocating to Ames, Iowa, where it will be located in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Iowa State University.
We are excited to continue to push the boundaries in solid mechanics research during this next chapter. Meanwhile, we have multiple openings for PhD students. Research opportunities range from machine learning to solid rocket motor simulation. Please contact Dr. Runnels if you are interested!
